Nigeria Investment Overview
Nigeria is West Africa's largest economy with a GDP of USD 290.8 billion and a population of 237.5 million. The Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) was established to encourage, promote and coordinate investments in the Nigerian economy. NIPC serves as the One-Stop Agency for business establishment with foreign involvement and operates a One Stop Investment Center (OSIC) housing 17 government agencies.

Economic Development Tax Incentive
The Economic Development Tax Incentive (EDTI), established under the Nigeria Tax Act, 2025, provides eligible companies with a tax credit to encourage investment in priority sectors of the economy. It grants a tax credit on Qualifying Capital Expenditure (QCE) for priority sectors listed in the Tenth Schedule to the Act, at 5% of the QCE value as it relates to the threshold provided in the Tenth Schedule.
